The opportunity to improve someone’s life is always rewarding. I have a passion for my patients and my profession, and strive to be an advocate for both. I find that one of the most important things I can do as a dentist is listen. Without the knowledge of my patients’ hopes and goals, it would be impossible for me to meet them. Improving and maintaining my patients’ health are my goals, and what brought me to dentistry almost four decades ago.
Education and continuing education
Growing up in Warren County, I graduated from Little Miami High School before attending Ohio State University for my undergraduate degree. I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University.
I feel that my education has never ended. New materials, diagnostic aids, and modalities of therapy make continuing education essential to providing the best care possible. I am also a member of several professional organizations, all of which provide numerous continuing education opportunities throughout the year, including:
- Keely Dental Society
- Ohio Dental Association
- American Dental Association
- Pierre Fauchard Academy
- American College of Dentists
Outside the office
My wife and partner, Berta, and I have lived in the Hamilton area for over 35 years, and loved raising our three children, Brad, Megan, and Kate, here. Now, we spend our free time with our dog, Sebastian, and our family, including two grandchildren, Nathan and Lauren. My personal passions outside of dentistry include woodworking and community outreach through our church, Immanuel Lutheran.
